Bathed and Infused and new Valentines Solstice Scents!

Another great Etailer I have come to respect and love of late is Bathed and Infused.  Bathed and Infused is a Etailer run by a delightful woman named Pam.   Bathed and Infused carries a wide range of products including:  several different moisturizers ranging from very rich "fluff' to regular lotion, hand creams, cuticle pens, scrubs, bath and shower gels, etc.  Bathed and Infused is different from your regular "bath and body" retailers in several ways: 1. The scent list comprises over 700 different fragrances and they are constantly changing and adding new offerings.  2. The products are made to order.  Don't like heavy fragranced lotions?  Ask Pam and she will scent yours lightly.  Want a little more vanilla in your hand cream?  Pam is happy to oblige.  The turn around time on this Etailer is fantastic and everything is always lovingly packaged with care.
3. These products are made with quality materials.  The perfumes have outstanding lasting power and the lotions really moisturize well.  You can expect to get what you pay for with Bathed and Infused.

Some scents I have tried and loved are:

Ivory Rose: A Bathed and Infused exclusive. This is Ivory Soap mixed with a gentle rose note. Uplifting, comforting and very clean.  I love this fragrance!

Bad Puppy:  This scent is another exclusive Bathed and Infused fragrance.  Think of a new puppy digging up your flower garden coming in covered in grass, fresh potting soil and fragrant flower blossoms.  This is the essence of Bad Puppy.  This smell is refreshing, green with a hint of floral.  I love it!

Funeral: Yet another exclusive fragrance.  Think of darkest, and most fragrant red rose, mixed with oak moss and a hint of fresh loamy soil.  Funeral is anything but dreadful and dreary and is amazingly sexy.  Funeral is my go to scent of late.

You should go visit http://www.bathedandinfused.com/ for more information.  You can also read fragrance reviews on the forum portion of the site to see reviews of fragrances, descriptions of products, and get in the running for Forum Friday postings for discounts on your order!

On another note, Solstice Scents has a fantastic new set of Valentines Day offerings available now!  German Chocolate Cake, Violet Truffle, are simply to DIE FOR beautiful rich chocolate scents.  This is comfort food heaven at its finest.  Angela is in the process of moving her store from ETSY to www.solsticescents.com at and plans to expand into new products once the new site is up and running.  For more information on the move check out her blog http://solsticescents.blogspot.com/.  The valentines offerings should be available once the new site is up and running.  I will post a more in depth review of the perfumes I purchased shortly.

Solstice Scents Perfume Olis on ETSY

I am so excited...  I really need to get out of my system because I am literally DYING to post my swooning over my young new love:  Solstice Scents and the talented Angela on ETSY.

Solstice Scents is a shop on ETSY that sells quality Bath and Body items and fragrances.  My first order I simply ordered a perfume oil called Scrying Smoke (which is a  lovely blend of Frankincense and Myrrh) which impressed me not only with the quality of the fragrance (nothing about this smells fake or artificial) but also the longevity of the fragrance.  I can put this on before bed, go to sleep, wake up on a Saturday morning and smell this well into the morning before I get into the shower! A fragrance oil lasting at all past 8 hours is UNHEARD of on my dry pale skin.  My skin EATS scent so I am shocked and amazed that this these oils last so long.  I placed a second and now a THIRD order for a wide range of her perfume oils and a great Exquisite Cocoa Face Masque.  This mask is amazing it made my skin so soft and it smells like real cocoa. This masque is chocked full of wonderful ingredients including pomegranate, coconut milk, organic vanilla bean, honey and green tea.  Unlike other masques I have tried this one is powder and you add water or plant hydrosols to activate the masque.  It is great to have something in powder form that will not "go bad" in a short time frame like other "fresh" masques can.  Another great blogger did a review on You Tube of her other masque I will link below.

Back to the perfume oils.  I ordered 6 more for a total of 7 of these roll ons bottles.  The perfumes are housed  in very cute and very sturdy cobalt blue glass bottles with screw on tops.  All of the bottles come with Angela's signature "antique parchment labels" hand written with the fragrance's name.  The theme of the shop is metaphysical and the labels and bottles look like what you would find in the apothecary shop of a Renaissance town.  The size on these perfume oils is about .35 oz which may not seem to be alot but with the lasting power of these oils a small amount can last you hours.  I can tell already these are going to be with me for some time!  The scents I chose are mostly incense /unisex scents since this is what I enjoy but there are a wide range of different scents for any beauty lover.  I will post individual reviews of each fragrance as well as some pictures of the bottles soon, but for now please check out Solstice Scents on ETSY for Angela's shop and You Tube user Autumn Magic's Review and DemonRapunzel's Review on You Tube for a second opinion.

My Mission

It's my first post!  I have been wanting to do this for some time but I haven't gotten around to posting my thoughts yet.  I am a big fan and a huge lover of beauty products.  Some could say I am a complete addict and I will own to being a bit addicted to perfumes and beauty products *wink wink* I am a person who is deeply effected by scents and their environment so it's a natural step for me to want to share my experiences.  I am just an ordinary person wanting to share beauty products that I find which I love and I think others will enjoy.  I am not being paid to do this, I just know there are alot of terrible products out there I have wasted my money on and I would like to spare others the same fate. I also have found some great gems I would like to share with others. As this blog evolves into something more concrete I may also review other goodies like handbags etc.. that I like or find along my journey.  I hope you will enjoy my blog and hopefully I can steer you toward some great finds!
